Nathalie Mattheiem

I have been a journalist for more than 20 years. I worked mostly in print and radio. I became a foreign correspondent for a daily in the United States in 1991, first in Washington, DC. I was assigned to New York City in 1997, until the closing of the paper’s bureau in the fall of 2006.
I am currently working on non fiction and fiction projects, and offering consulting services.
I have appeared on news/talk shows on CNN, World News, Radio Canada, RTL, and have been a frequent guest in the BBC/NPR foreign correspondents roundtable “The World”.
I have also given lectures, and have regularly participated in debates and seminars at NYU and the Foreign Service Institute, in Washington, DC.
